The Paranormal and Maggie Stiefvater Books

I had not read a book in a long while. Between school and my young daughter reading consisted of children's books. I went to a conference for work and heard them talk about a book called Shiver...and the cover just hooked me in. I had to read it...and once I did I was hooked. Maggie Stiefvater's work is amazing. It can be found mostly in the Young adult section but her books are unbelievable.

Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater

What do Mercy Falls, wolves and love have to do with each other?  Well if you read the trilogy, by Maggie Stiefvater you will be sucked into a whirlwind of just that.  Mercy Falls is known for their wolves and the problems that they have caused but no one really knows the truth about them and why they are there.  Grace knows all too much how dangerous the wolves can be but she is in love with one of them, Sam.  Will their love last or will the wolves of Mercy Falls be killed off.  This is a must read!

Lament and Ballad by Maggie Stiefvater


Just like in Shiver, Linger and Forever the author leaves you breathless and wanting more.  These stories are both about fairies and the real world.  She combines love, life and a world of fairies all into two great books.  If you liked Shiver, Linger and Forever then you will love these!  Haven't you ever wondered what fairies do?  If they are real or not?  Well these two books will have you wondering!
